THE IDEA TO UNDERSTAND
Separate education duties from school choices. Denmark requires education. That is different from requiring attendance at one particular public school. The folkeskole is municipal schooling; other arrangements have requirements too. School–home cooperation supports learning. Educational support such as SU has its own eligibility conditions.
