No single rule covers them all. Mainland Chinese passports and Hong Kong or Macao special administrative region passports have different visa treatment. Check the official nationality and passport list first.
Residence alone does not decide this. Your nationality, passport, existing permissions and any applicable exemptions matter. Check the Danish Immigration Service’s official list before starting.
